Fantasy Basketball Roster Update
Tuesday, March 11th, 2008Looks like Al Jefferson may be hurting with a bad ankle as he missed practice on Monday. Just to be safe I am replacing him with Carlos Boozer at the same $36 salary.
Good luck.

We are playing 2 ten team tournaments on FSL with our fantasy basketball betting roster today. The structure is a 7 player, 210 point cap game.
I’m starting Hakim Warrick ($15) at forward. He makes a nice low priced roster filler and he allows us enough cap room to play Kobe at Guard. He can have the occasional big night on his own and he should be looked to for points in what might be a high scoring contest. Put Al Jefferson ($36) at one forward and A. Jamison ($35) at the other forward. Jefferson has a nice home matchup against a soft Portland team while Jamison remains the primary scoring option in Washington.
Play Kobe Bryant ($41) at a guard spot. Kobe has disappointed in his last two, but the talent at guard today is thin so he should put us ahead of other teams at guard that don’t play him. The other two guard spots go to Michael Redd ($31) and Deron Williams ($31).
Put Mehmet Okur ($21) at center. I ran out of money and Okur was the best option left on the board. He has been playing well so let’s see if he has one more good game in him.
Good luck. I’m still trying to get the issues with the slow loading of the blog and message board resolved. You can get the picks on the basketball homepage on the main website if you have trouble with the blog.
We had a third place finish on Monday with an average performance of 214 total points. The team totals were Alston (18), J. Johnson (35), McGrady (27), LeBron (45), Maggette (22), Turkoglu (44) and Perkins (23). Turkoglu and James both had triple doubles. McGrady and Alston got some 4th quarter bench time as Houston was winning big, which didn’t help our totals. Al Thornton scored 34FP and was the real killer as every team finishing above us had him going. He is big risk and big reward but makes you look smart when he is on.
I’ll be back at lunchtime with today’s draft boards and picks.
